The Valley Views High School Internship program provides hands-on experience in various media-related fields, enabling students to develop essential skills for a successful career in media.
Program Overview

Duration: 10 months from September-June

Open to high school students with a passion for media (limited slots)
Objectives

​To provide students with hands-on experience in media production

To develop students' skills in radio broadcasting, graphic design, community engagement, writing, and communication

To foster creativity and teamwork among students and our crew

Roles & Duties

Radio Broadcasting:

Produce and host a radio show takeover

Learn the basics of audio editing and production

Interview community members and experts
Graphic Design:

Create graphics for the radio show and promotional materials

Learn the principles of visual design and layout
Community Engagement:

Organize and participate in community events

Develop and implement community outreach initiatives
Writing:

Write scripts for the radio show

Develop articles and blog posts for the organization's website and newsletter
